Description Here we have two more stuffed dragons - I finished one per day this week - actually, two today, but one was a simple one for my friend's infant daughter, so that doesn't really count.

I made a rainbow dragon before, but Flower Power here is WAY brighter and very full of color. He wants to play with Hiss the more reserved rattlesnake dragon...will Hiss agree to a game of dandelion chomping?

It was really hard to choose a background for these guys. I just use blankets thrown over my couch to make a little "stage", but my choices are sand, brown, and blue. Using the sand or the brown, Hiss blends in. So I used the blue, but now parts of Flower Power are blending in. My kingdom for a green throw! ...Or I could just make one.

For sale on Etsy!

Flower Power: SOLD but I have more rainbow fabric!

how do put the wire in?

I put the wire in though the hole left when I turn the dragon inside out, the same way I would put stuffing in the dragon. Wire is bendy, so I fold it into a shape to get it in the dragon, and then unfold it so that it's in place.

Sorry, the pattern is not available (it's not perfect enough for me to feel comfortable making it available) but you can buy one from the Etsy shop - link is in the description, there.

Those are so cute! Are they poseable?

Yep! They have a wire spine, and wire in their arms and legs. They can even hold little things. Their tails are the most posable so they can wrap around and hold onto a perch or a hand.

They came out great, and I love how they're posed here!

For a background, you could choose a image off the internet and set them against your monitor. I did that for some of my Ann Bonny doll photos.

Ooh, good idea, though the monitor is a bit too small and the dragons a bit too big for that. Maybe for the littler dragons I make...

That tie dye one is real adorable. The fabric you used looks very soft and thick, almost feltish. Coincidentally, great for cuddling - how does it hold up to rubbing and wearing?

Holds up pretty well. I like to use anti-pill fleece fabric when I can find it, and that holds up the best. I gave a couple stuffed dragons to a 6 year old and a 9 year old to test drive, and they're not quite as fuzzy here and there, but generally look fine. The kids like to twist them in awkward positions, so I think most of the fuzz loss is from enthusiastic yoga.
