Meet Alice's elder sister, Nyxia Moonrunner, a Lunar nubian goat born of absolute darkness and the mother of all monsters in Equestria. Emerging from the dark abyssal pits of Tartarus, Nyxia claimed the land under the Moon's Magic, just like her younger sister, Alice Wonderguard with the Sun's Magic before the reign of the ponies. Nyxia would let the monsters roam free as she built the City of Tambelon, letting only those born of pure Darkness or Light enter to seek guidance from one of the two rulers. Unfortunately enough, the two goat sisters were stripped of their control over the sun and moon, seeing their magic transferred to Celestia and Luna as they were no longer needed to rule over Equestria. Nyxia was spiteful towards this change and created Grogar, a demonic ram with the capability to create his own monsters that would get revenge for what had befallen the two beloved goat rulers. And through Grogar's eyes, she became the most feared and benevolent being to exist, cursing ponies with the spirit she created with the Windigos, Lillith Windwalker.
