Rite 1: Rite of Merit: Thorak 2073

After Thorak had passed his first Rite Arricon started the preparations for the second one. This time everything had to be planned with care. They were going to spend days in the wild after all. Not only food and water for both, Tokota and handler, were important. They also needed equipment that would keep them warm during cold nights and – just to be on the safe side – medical utensils in case of minor injuries.
Soon their trip started and they left their base in order to proof their ability to work together as a team. Thorak, who was still young, benefited from his handlers years of experience. In return, Arricon's knowledge was supported by the Tokota's well developed senses.
As the days passed the trust between them steadily grew and the trip became more than just a task. It was an adventure, filled with exciting, partly unexpected events that reassured them both that they can rely on each other without a doubt.
