One big Mamma!.'.. Red Back'... had been keeping watch on her cluster of egg sacks nearby. Hiding outa sight. One of two found while gardening & moving plant pots. Akin to the Black Widow_ a species to avoid.Related content

I think it's kinda weird that you are 'down under', and our black widow's red is 'down under', while yours is on top!

Well that's something i didn't know..cos i thort the 'black' widow was just that..all black!! My husb/parents spent a cupla years in Phnx..& remembers having pest exterminators come & deal with them.. It put ma-in-law off sitting outside on summer evenings!

They are creepy, that's for sure! The black widow has a red hourglass shape on the underside.
