I expounded on a muscle-headed Venom sketch I quickly drew up . I usually could care less about muscles on heroes and villains, unless that's its intent. Venom is the perfect excuse to use a muscly character.Related content

I could comment on the slightly-silly aspects of the art (Venom's bulge and Spidey seemingly playing Cats' Cradle with his webbing), but in all honesty this is a really good piece. Venom looks threatening enough, the stylized backgrounds are wonderful (Reminds me of Cabinet of Dr. Caligari), and the colors are dreary in tone, yet beautiful in contrast.

Thanks a lot! The silly aspects come from the fact I was looking at a lot of Maurice Noble's Looney Tunes Backgrounds at the time. I'm glad you liked it!
