Description
So you found a place where the grass is greener
And you jumped the fence to the other side
Is it good?
Are they giving you a world I could never provide?
Well I hope you're proud of your big decision
Yeah, I hope it's all that you want and more
Now you're free from the agonizing life you were living before
good for you, from dear evan hanson
Oh jeez, Razor is an asshole. He is the ghost Leafeon in the middle. He is Kanto and Sneachd's father and Star's ex-mate.
Razor was obsessed with shiny Pokémon, as he believed that they were far more noble and strong than normal Pokémon. He got this mindset from practically worshipping the leader before him, who was a shiny Espeon named Beam. Beam was Star's father, so when Beam died, Star and Razor became the leading pair of their large group.
Their leadership initally goes well, but when Star doesn't produce shiny offspring (Kanto and Sneachd), Razor exiles her and their kits from the group. Star's brother, tried to convince him to let them stay, but he ended up being killed by Razor for disobeying.
Star and the kids leave, later finding Tohjo Ranch after Star is critically wounded by a starved Ursaring. Meanwhile, Razor rules the group with an iron paw, but his rule doesn't last too long after he starts killing trainer Pokémon and is destroyed for his efforts.
Please pardon the 5 year old art and badly written drabble on the second one, holy fuck
Razor never meets Star or his children after they leave, so this is more based on the music than logic within Greyverse canon with the singers being Star, Kanto and Sneachd, if that makes sense.
In Greyverse, shininess is a very rare hereditary gene mutation, so even though Kanto and Sneachd aren't shiny, they are carriers of the gene like their mother, so that's why Moon and Thorn are shiny.
