Stumbled across this ship template on Twitter and thought it'd be fun to fill it out for the Squeaks, considering I haven't done a ship info meme for them in a long while! At first, I was going to just fill the space with stuff from all over the timeline, but I thought it'd be better if I focused on a certain part of their lives to pull from, so I went with married gheys!

Before finding this template, I had no idea wtf a "yumeship" was, but it seems to be a more recent(?) label for canon x self insert oc but has expanded into being used for canon x oc in general.

It ties into the "sharing" thing, as it's meant to be an indicator if someone is comfortable with sharing the canon character with other people's ocs which is. . . .a little wild tbh I fucking adore seeing other Ash/OC ships so the idea of being uncomfy with sharing a character you don't own in the first place confuses my old jaded ass lmao

While most of the art is reused or official sprites, the art for the icon and all the lil' faux stickers are all new! Had a lot of fun putting in a lot of details into this, including some updated information about Skye *eyes emoji*

Some of this new info includes;

He finally dumped the Hunter name!!! he a ketchum through and through now, fuckers!!!!!!
Skye deciding that the queer label didn't fit him and identifying himself as homoromantic instead. Initially, he didn't think that he could call himself gay due to his childhood crush on Megan (who is very much not a dude) but the longer he was in a relationship with Ash and having some general queer self-introspection, figured that just going with queer felt too vague and he was very much not interested in women at all--so homoromantic it is! He calls himself queer in the general "part of the LGBTQ+ community" way however.
Surprise reveal on what the fuck is that necklace is--it's a Key Stone (fitted into a locket, which isn't pictured)! still gotta figure out how he gets it and the mega stone tho....

The aesthetic section was a little hard but I think I got their general vibe down. Just a lot of blue, being aggressively gay, and electric rats lmao

The song I picked is Peak husband Skye. Dude is a man in Big Gay love for his husband and still can't believe he gets to be happy as a man with a man. Just Some Guy by Anthony Rapp was a close runner up, but that one fits more for the gheys during the Galar arc time of their relationship.
