"Well then, shall we began?" Varjak spoke up, and allΒ Β eyes turned on her."I've got the paperwork you asked for." Fuzzymask said, handing her a file.
"Right. Neon, do you have-" Varjak looked up, expecting neon to be in the chair beside her. "...Where's neon?"
Pelican gave a nervous cough. "Well, she got caught up in ..'Business' as she calls it.."
"What business is so important that she had to miss the meeting!?"
"Er..."
Varjak basically facepalmed. "....NONE OF YOU KNOW?!"
"Well, actually!" Ashy cleared her throat. "She's right out there!" Ashy pointed at the window, where they all proceeded to crowd by.
"I can't see!" A muffled voice said, then a lot of pushing occured.
"Move!" Varjak pushed past everyone and growled at what she saw.
Neon was standing at the bottom of the building, about five people behind her and a large group in front of her, holding up protest signs. Neon had a bullhorn, and, turning it on, spoke into it.
"ARE WE GOING TO LET YOAI BE PUSHED ASIDE BY STRAIGHT COUPLES IN ANIME?"
"NO!"
"WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO ABOUT IT!?"
"FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS AS FANGIRLS!"
"THAT'S RIGHT. AND WHAT ARE WE GOING TO HAVE TO SACRIFICE?"
"PEOPLE'S LIVES!"
Varjak facepalmed again. "Neon's protesting against us again.." She sighed. "Fuzzymask! Go stop her now and bring her up here." She suddenly ordered.
Fuzzymask nodded and hurried out of the door to downstairs.
A few minutes later, varjak's fur rose in anger.
"What happened?" ashy asked.
"Fuzzymask joined the protest."
