Description The Jurassic Movies’ three types of dromaeosaurs in the film that they debuted in with Velociraptor (top) first appearing in Jurassic Park and Atrociraptor (middle) and Pyroraptor (bottom) both debuting in Jurassic World: Dominion.
Throughout the Jurassic movies when the protagonists aren’t being attacked by a giant solitary hunter, (whether it’d be T. rex, Spinosaurus, Indominus rex, Indoraptor or Giganotosaurus) there would always be the smaller fast social predators hunting them as well. As for the animal playing that part, it was non-other than the dromaeosaur Velociraptor who held that title (even if in real-life, it was a lot smaller with a coating of feathers and there is currently no good evidence of it being social). Even when T. rex was no longer the giant solitary predator star, Velociraptor still kept the role until the fifth movie Fallen Kingdom (however the previous movie redeemed the raptors at the end), which featured a female named Blue from the previous film as a sympathetic hero who also returned in the sixth film Dominion with a small but major role that also featured another Velociraptor as a main character named Beta, her daughter.
Unlike past installments, Velociraptor was not the only type of dromaeosaur to physically appear within Dominion. Here we were introduced to a new breed known as Atrociraptor who portrayed as a tribute to the Isla Sorna Velociraptor specimens who attack the heroes in Malta. One individual named Red was locked in a cage by Owen and Barry, another named Tiger chased Claire Dearing before she knocked him out with a titanium pipe, and two others Ghost and Panthera chased Owen on his motorcycle before going on board of Kayla’s plane.
Later on after Kayla’s plane crash landed into a frozen lake held behind the valley of Biosyn’s dam, we were introduced to yet another dromaeosaur- Pyroraptor. Unlike the other raptors of the movies, this one was largely feathered (except for the face, underbelly, and bottom part of legs) and was able to swim under the cold water. The single individual present tried to attack Owen and Kayla until they escaped the elevator and shut it on the dinosaur before Kayla tazed it.

Fun Fact: Deinonychus was supposed to appear in Jurassic Park, Jurassic World and Jurassic World: Dominion before being replaced by Velociraptor in the first two and Atrociraptor in the latter.
The Lost World: Jurassic Park was also supposed to feature a "Super-raptor" (no specific details have been revealed for it) but Steven Spielberg scrapped it because he deemed it "a little too much out of a horror movie" and that he "didn't want to create an alien."

Jurassic Park/World is owned by Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment.
