With the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiering this week, a few friends and I decided to go in costume. I picked Scabior as I already had the plaid trousers and military boots, not to mention I dig his Adam Ant-esq style!Related content

I took an old jacket I had, cut off the sleeves and added the horizontal panels across the chest, plus some gold buttons I bought. This was then sanded and given a mist of dark brown paint.
If you're in a rush I check online or at major clothing retailers. You should be able to find a semi-close military vest in the women's section.

OMG this is epic! I too LOVE his Adam Ant-esq style and I think it's a pretty cool piece of trivia that Nick Moran actually played Adam Ant in the short 'Ant Muzak' [link] Teehee I love him so much!

Thank you both. I say go for it - if all the elements aren't exact, movie goers will be more than forgiving and just excited to see a costumed character. Even the boots I have aren't quite exact - they don't have the zipper on the sides or the peaked toe, but I think they'll do. I did come across what I think are his screen used boots on All Saints, but they're going for $300. Yikes!
Also I'll be adding some more pics after the premiere, along with a fantastic Voldemort and Bellatrix two friends are working on.

This is awesome! I'm tempted to go as Scabior....leather coat isnt quite right though, and still need plaid trousers. You should look quite the part tho XD
