As a 90s kid, Power Rangers is one of my childhood legends. Back then, I didn’t even understand the concept of “adaptation”, I just thought that this is the wildest s#$t I’ve ever seen on TV, with monsters, giant robots and awesome rock musics, etc… It was only around early 2000s, when VCD and DVD began to replace VHS, that kids get introduced to Super Sentai through Gaoranger. Many people would find that the Super-Sentai is far more superior due to the OG idea and concept; however, Power Rangers also have a lots to offer. In the matter of original ideas, I think we should give Saban many credits. Beside adopting the Japanese footages successfully, they also transform and add new ideas in order to fit the American styles. Surely, this method can be backfire sometimes, but when it works, the show would shine on it own. I wish to make some tribute artworks as well as give out some personal reviews for certain Power Rangers seasons.
