Description
This was part of a series of relief sculptures around the base of a well in a local park.Tried to get an extra creepy shot of it.

I like this image even though it scares the hell out of me. Provocative because of the subject but truly because of the angle and framing you chose. Brings up deep philosophical questions like who is driving the bus in this universe? (Are events purposeful, is it chaos, is it god, is it science, etc???) Thanks for posting.

This photograph instantly caught my eye because of its eerie atmosphere. Shot from this angle it almost seems like the stone putti are approaching the viewer - like, coming two steps closer in the blink of an eye, the foremost one practically leering at you while he has all but reached you. Brr! (Shudders.) This is entirely in the eye of the beholder, of course, but yes, it reminds me so much of the 'weeping angels' from Dr Who...
So, if you were aiming for creepy you succeeded, big time. A truly great shot!
Oh, I almost forgot (see what your picture did to me): A belated but heartfelt thank you for the llama. I'm glad they're all cute and cuddly...

It also reminded me of the weeping angels! That's probably why I was so creeped out just taking the photo. That's what I was going for, I'm glad it turned out that way.
