My entry for ’s contest, her adorable OCs Kakeru and Tori (and Bun-Bun the rabbit!).Had some fun getting in touch with my cutesey side for this contest. A lot of the entries showed the characters in lush green fields or with flowers, so I decided to switch up the seasons and do a winter setting. I also wanted to think of something that would show off character traits/quirks—Kakeru is supposed to be very athletic and Tori’s a klutz—and ice skating was the perfect way to illustrate both.
So who’s falling harder: Tori or Kakeru?
Line art done with pencil and pen, trees and sky painted in acrylic, coloring and shading done in photoshop!

By the way: sorry it's taken me so long to post Syren, I've been having a little trouble finding an interesting pose for her that compliments her elegant dress. Got a few line arts started that might hold some water, I'm hard at work on 'em! ^_^

It's okay, take your time! I know what you mean about the pose, I work so hard on a dynamic pose and once the dress is drawn it looks like she's doing nothing...
