The first time I saw The Science of Sleep in 2008, I was moved beyond words. I remember watching it again and again and again. The next day when I went to watch it some more, I grabbed an old gray shirt of my moms and began to make Golden the Pony Boy, Stefani's beloved stuffed animal.

Last year, I began a slight reconstructive surgery project on Golden, which included making him less flat, less fat, less derpy in the head and more stable (basically, turning him from a donkey to a horsey). Now thanks to new stitching and some pipe cleaners, he can stand up straight and sturdy all on his own!

When I dream you can gallop for real, Golden! I love you!
