Hey everybody! It’s been a while, art wise. There’s a reason for that.
For about two years, I’ve been dealing with a medical condition—and while not life threatening, it’s been very painful and exhausting. Creating artwork has been extremely difficult for me since the beginning of this, but lately I’ve been really pushing myself to get back into it, to find that inspiration I used to have and work through it all.
Today I had a surgical procedure. I’m a bit fuzzy on the results, but from what I’ve heard things are looking up. I’m feeling really good about this, and I’m going to take this positive energy and see what I can make with it. I haven’t forgotten about the artwork I owe some wonderful people here, and that’s going to be the first place I start.
In the meantime, here’s the one piece of finished art I’ve made in the last year: a little picture of Samuel being grumpy with awesome boots, done with pen, pencil, and a little fix in Photoshop. I really like this picture it's so dramatic! I like the textures you created with the pen strokes and how his eyes have the only color.

Things are going good, still on the road to recovery. Just started school again, but looks like I'll get to have four day weekends.
