I have a love-hate relationship with World of Warcraft. On the one hand, the world and environments flow fantastically together, and itβs very easy to get into. On the other, the very long time sink that it takes to get caught up to your veteran friends is a painful slog.

I gotta admit, I've always been tempted to try the free trial of WoW... but I'm afraid that I might get addicted to it and want the full version. lol. Luckily though, only one of my friends play it, and even then I'm not sure if she plays it anymore.

i have to say, i leveld on my own, not wanting to play with other players because i was on a server where they were all jerks. when i became level 80 and realized the horror that is having to do a million heroics and raids to get purples, i just gave up. so now, i just spend areound 3 hours a day on wow, hanging out in goldshire, dueling other level 80's (and owning them cause i pop all my cooldowns) and helping noobs defeat hogger.

My friends and I just recently were invited to follow some of that "Endgame" content in WoW, but we had to abandon life, liberty, and pretty much everything just to do all of that.
|: screw that, we play by ourselves, for ourselves, and nothing is going to change that.
I can still play WoW with my friends, we just don't get too into it. I'm sorry it didn't work out that well for you.

When I played a trail, what I thought at the end of it was 'Yes its very nice, and the gameplay isn't too bad, but I don't think I have the patience or money to reach the PHAT LEWT portion of the game, which is the only reason I would be playing the game in the first place'
