Starfire was laid out on a table in the dressing room. She had planned to debut her new costume to her boyfriend Dick. Had she been conscious, she might have been surprised to see the Mannequin turn its head, leering at her, lips open. Unbeknownst to her it had released a knockout gas, odorless and vaporless, into the room. She had felt light-headed for a second then succumbed to the gas, another prize for the Mannequin's Mistress.* * *
