Now that someone mentions the face in the back part, I interpret it as an Edward Mordrake case type of thing

I've seen a few lamb defects on the farm but that Lord Voldemortesque example takes the cake. I've given up on 'believing' the engines are supposed to be sentient outside the books but with twin faced engines like BoCo argued one face would go into a sort of sleep mode pending which way the engine was going/which cab it was being operated from. BoCo is not twin faced as far as I know, following the example of the CFR, I considered Edward Mordrake's case because the man used to have a face behing his neck, the face couldn't talk, but it could cry and laugh

Aye I got what you meant about the limit abilities of the cab face.Β
As for BoCo I could of just as easily said Daisy but in the Missing Christmas Tree story he really is twin faced.

It's a messy aspect though as say Toby's rear is sometimes left faceless and half the time the tank engines get magically turned around to face the reader so not something that's really worth overly dissecting.

Those bunker faces still creep me out.
Why do they have two faces?? Are they one entity or two??

It's always going to be a bit odd but like with BoCo, Daisy, Bear etc I see both faces belonging to the same entity, though only one is active at a time. Β

I'm glad that they don't do the whole "MightyMac fighting for control" situation. That is very disturbing.

With the Arlesdale Railway finally making their way out of the Railway Series books and onto the TV screen, I can smell the Culdee Fell Railway making their TV debut at long last too. If they do, Shane Dooiney could have some significance.

I suspect between other standard gauge stories they'll be building on the AR for a while, which would mean creating Jock and maybe Frank but yeah, given two or so seasons I can definitely see it happening and with the right level of design work the CR stories could look amazing.

Yes, some engines are easier to copy past than others.

Wonder what it is that The Truck is needed for this time round. And, also, the brilliance of this edit really goes without saying (same goes with all the other edits you've done).

Very true; and, as we well know, The Truck was and is the only way to get supplies up there safely (i.e. Without being blown off the mountain). And I do rather like how Shane's been given a story in your edit here (even if it's just a wee story) as I'm sure a lot of us have felt that Shane ought to have at least a bit of recognition beyond his minor appearance in Mountain Engines and his mention/name reveal in 'IOS'.
And you're quite welcome.
