Description

A while ago I made some Pixel and Shot armies, intended for Dragon Rampant, and I ended up making another one.

I didn't really plan on it, but I started by making some turnip musketmen, inspired by the artwork and style of Turnip 28, and then I just kept going. As I am still somewhat unfamiliar with the mechanics of the Turnip 28 game, I used Dragon Rampant as a game reference, as I could potentially use it with my other Pixel and Shot regiments.

Anyways, this is Barletts Privateer Regiment, commanded by Barlett himself and his Mudreavers, supported by a troop of muketment, a large cannon, a ravenous mutated mega-turnip warbeast, and their landship - the Inglorious Revenge. I had so much fun drawing these, and especially decorating the bases, with debris, trees, strange creatures, root vegetables, and more. I don't plan on making anymore currently, but I am really liking the entire "feel" of Pixel and Shot as game counters/markers/wargame-pieces.
