I think I am finally happy(er) with this, I may thin out the lines later...but I'll wait to see what people think of it before I twist it to my will.The title comes from the fact that i had 'Making Christmas' from The Nightmare Before Christmas stuck in my head at the time ><

I like the bold black outline on a red background ^^ It has been said before, some of the lines look a bit blotchy, but from reading the comments, that's just a matter of taste! It's fine the way you think it should be

Yeah, it still needs a bit of fixing up, once it was pointed out, it began to irritate me, i just need to get off my lazy ass and get more red paint to fix it ><
It was my first time properly painting on a canvas...It was harder then I thought

I guess not, ah well, as long as there are ways to work around it, it's fine. Painting on canvas is really hard! I had people who saw my digital drawings asking me if I could do something like that in acrylics. You should have seen the look on their faces when I began to laugh really really hard., it just isn't the same!

Yeah, I remember taking an art class and they wanted me to paint on canvas while standing up >< Apart from completely ruining the picture I ended up injuring my back as well! And then there is the pressure and the amount of wrist movement too...It's hard work, but if your arms need a work out...Go for it! ;D
That and paints, canvases and brushes can get really really expensive, where as with photoshop it is only the cost of the applications and that is it!

Not to forget that painting on canvas can be so tedious! If you use a computer you can redo and edit infinitely, try different hues, add, delete a layer.,In some ways it's easier, on the other hand I sometimes find the freedom and amount of possibilities overwhelming. When I just paint analogue the outcome can be more surprising

I get the cheapest ones i can find, and even those paints are at least $6 each ><
I want to try watercolors next, they are cheaper...harder to use, but cheaper and last longer!

Yeah, I only get primary colors too...and purple, because I can never make the right purple. ><
They have acrylic sets here too! But they are at least $15-$20 >< but thats Australia for you.

Yeah, that one bunch of lines have been irratating me since I did it, but laziness always gets the better of me >< I'll probably end up updating it several times....Knowing me XD
