I actually like the way you've drawn the creases a lot! I think it clashes a little bit with the shading of the face though, but I guess it comes down to this piece not being finished (which is a shame because it looks great. Maybe for this one the simple flat/stylized look would fit the best?

ah, that was one of the reasons I didn't finish ^^' I couldn't figure out a style I wanted to stick to and kept yo-yoing from shaded and detailed to flat and harsh.

It might be the fabric folds, but then I like the more stylized/abstract take.
