It's that time again! 2019 has certainly been a year of learning. The months have gone by in a blur with new experiences that I'll treasure. Mixed in were very difficult times, but I've ridden those waves and came out stronger for it. I've learned that self care is incredibly important and taking the appropriate steps has significantly improved my mental health.

I feel that my artistic "voice" is finally taking shape, not anywhere near where I want it to be, but there are now distinguishing features and subjects. I've slowly let myself do the things I truly enjoy and not let the opinions of others affect me so much. Creating themed creatures and illustrating little story scenes has been quite fun! Backgrounds aren't as scary as they used to be. This year I also tried to be more active in engaging with the art community and the experience has been heartwarming and inspiring. Definitely something I want to keep improving!
