Fanart of "Black Rock Shooter" PV by ryo. Apart from the fact that the character herself doesn't blend too well with the background, i'm pretty pleased with how it turned out. Now i just need to build a pedestal for when my figure of her arrives, it's so damn beautiful.[link] < for those unfamiliar with the BRS phenomenon =]

all your hard work really paid off, both BRS and and the background look awesome, the bg i'm particularly impressed with, as it fits so perfectly with the mood of the whole BRS phenomenon.

Thanks man, i appreciate it. Well i got into a good 'rhythm' on 2 days where i worked on it from like 8pm to about 2am, so that helped XD
Thanks again, i'm not sure why she doesn't 'fit', but i think it might have something to do with the fact that i used a very dark green instead of shades of black... I spent a while looking over tutorials for filters but wound up with nothing, but i'm using gradients a lot more now.

Yup, good thing i sorted out my itunes library beforehand so i had some fitting music for it (Mute City anyone?)
When it does happen it's a great rush. Just wish it happens more often. I could imagine us in uni, going to classes in a complete daze from staying up all night drawing XD
Might go back and try to fix it after i've got this other drawing done.
