Touhou's Wriggle Nightbug, also a tribute to Todd Macfarlane's Spawn.

These few days I've been poisoned by Wriggle's cuteness. And so I decided to draw her, but couldn't decide whether to render her badass or cutie-cute. And I just happen to read up more about Spawn (I'm a big fan but never really followed the story), which prompted me to draw Wriggle in a Todd Macfarlane style.

Started sketching, and it suddenly hit me how much I could relate Wriggle to Spawn. Red, flowing cape... and green highlights? That made me very excited as the silhouette sketches I made also resembles a Spawn. So... I've sort of portray Wriggle as a Hellspawn, without obvious necroplasm.

Inked the old-fashioned way, coloured in Photoshop.
I doubt you'll find many Touhou art in this fashion, so hope ya'll enjoy this.
