Kouha Daisuke:

Model Student at Horizon High, admired by pretty much everyone for his good looks, perfect grades and his good nature. However, behind his gentle smile lies a few dark secrets. Daisuke has had to put up with a lot of things at home, including his father’s brutal training to get Daisuke to carry on the family legacy as a skilled martial artists. Despite his mother’s protests, Daisuke’s father has pushed the boy to the limits of his strength and beyond since he was a kid. Despite his dashing appearance, there’s a reason Daisuke hasn’t let anyone see him outside school and especially in the changing rooms. His clothing hides the many scars he has received from his father’s training. However, all that hard work comes in handy once the infection starts. Daisuke shows that he is in fact a skilled warrior, particularly with spear fighting as demonstrated with the weapon he forges for himself using two kitchen knives, a metal pole and tape. Daisuke wants to use all his skill to protect those around him, but also to prove once and for all to his father (if he’s still alive) that he’s not the soft-hearted weakling he always believed him to be. That caring for others can in fact make someone strong.
