Brie was being a bit of a handful over at Marvel Studios. Her entitled personality caused many conflicts during the filming of Captain Marvel 2 putting the film well behind schedule. The overlords at Disney had to step in and close the production down due to the ever increasing risk of a box office flop. The next logical step would be to fire Brie for her problematic behaviour but there was still many years left on her contract. They had to do something with her to make back the money she lost. Fortunately there was an opening for another female superhero acting role at the Disneyland Parks. Of course Brie heavily objected to working in a hot stuffy suit for hours on end, miming out silly poses to entertain guests and standing around waving at parades. But the contract Miss Larson signed gave Disney the legal right to use any methods possible to convince her to take up her new position. She should have really read the fine print about the mind control chip backup protocol before signing that thing.
