This is the first page of my submission to Songdog-StrayFang 's One Shot! Comic ContestI've been wanting to do this for awhile so here we go!
A lot of people say they want to get into making comics but have a hard time starting. I first got into comics from an OCT, and I never even planned on doing comics past the auditions. Having an incentive and a deadline really helped motivate me, and so I thought there might be a way to help motivate others! (Short of hosting another OCT because that sure is a time-sink).
Guidelines
Create a short stand-alone comic using your own original characters. The comic can be as a short or as long as you want, and all art levels welcome! Whether it's one page or ten, as long as you make and upload them before the deadline it will be accepted. You cannot submit any comics you have already previously made, and it has to be something that makes sense on it's own. Entries will be judged on impact, technique, and overall appeal. You can submit the pages individually as you create them or all at once; whichever is easiest for y. Updates will be sporadic as I finish them, though hopefully it'll be every other day or so. It should only be 7 pages, though originally it was going to be 4 and then I made it longer so... who knows. So long as it's done before the deadline.
