I'm absolutely in love with all of your works. This one is especially cool. I adore the concept! Her design is just so beautiful. The palette is awesome, her hair is awesome, everything's awesome.

You have really been improving. Before I would've been impressed but even more-so now. She looks so very real. It's a gaze I take seriously, even.

It's odd. I know, intellectually, that this is a sculpted figure, that those eyes don't see anything and that there's no breath moistening those lips but when I look at her, she looks back with all the presence of a living personality. Wonderful, as in I'm full of wonder.

Thank you so much! Its important to me that they evoke feelings and appearance of a soul is part of that. I even used to wish that my imaginary beings could live.

I love your recent collection, the expressions are so harmless and innocent, the detail and coloring is beautiful but the overall work is eerie and even offsetting--its a gorgeous, dark, lasting effect.

Not sure if or how many times i have said it but i think it often enough that it feels like a broken record... i love your designs and especially your styling.  I rummage through your gallery pretty often for inspiration to apply to my fantasy shoots. But so far i have never copied any of your ideas in my shoots.

I'd say i do draw inspiration, i visit your gallery and gel my thoughts whenever i am thinking of fantasy creatures...  The top your 'Emma' is wearing is vaguely in mind when i did this quantumelement.deviantart.com/… but i continued the cloth back around to the front at the waist.
Another time the  'Thistle Queen' headdress was in mind for a shoot that fell apart before serious gathering came about.
My ultimate pipe dream would be a collaboration with you doing shoot design and styling and me finding locations or building sets ...  faux bois is always at the top of my mind for that, some existing pieces and some i'd love to make

Meanwhile i'll continue visiting your gallery to draw energy and take my thoughts to the polar opposite of wiccan-shop-barbie-doll-post-card-fairies

ahXD very cool! the thistle queen headress had some complex layers, but would be awesome human scale. maybe that dream can come true some day. Id love to do styling for photos.  Ive done face painting before and did some shoots with it.

 Faux bois now Im curious...

Thank you for noticing!  Fantasy means a lot to me and I  want to keep its dignity.

oh wow ! Id love to go there for a shoot and the stacks of old doll molds. damn id be temped to try and see if they are still useable.

i was just today looking at abandoned houses in Detroit. so beautiful and sad.

The place is unimaginably cool & it just points out how gentrified things around here are getting as abandoned places become extinct.
Part of my job and relocation search in the last couple of years is to find a smaller market that has vitality, less competition & just enough stasis that old structures are left alone ( a favorable indicator)  and not be in a place that has an unraveling economy like Detroit

good luck finding the ideal place. I was on a road trip and saw so many buildings I wanted to check out. from Iowa to North Carolina.

new Mexico could be really nice. Ive passed through in travel but never stopped  long. the desert has a lot of charm though in its desolation and ruins
