Your macabre is amazing, but when you go for pretty damn is it pretty. What I really can appreciate through your work is how you pull off things like this, her plant features. It's all so very convincing. Also if I haven't said so before you make such wonderful skin on your sculpts.

Β thanks man. Pretty almost feels wrong to me sometimes. The early work on this girl who turned out to be a favorite was edgier. Maybe Ill show some of her early stages. I loved it and didnt want to finish since then Id be tempted to sell and then these flowers just worked so well I said ahh hell with it!
The skin! its not even to the level Β I wish it was and my attention span is so shit that I usually say good enough, but Id really like to push myself farther.

When you put it that way I'm interested in seeing what she was before. But yea, your intuition paid off for how she turned out.
Honestly, I don't really blame you for that. It's happened to me a lot with money pieces and I just wanted to finish it. Then when I get personal I put so much time into it. It's not unusual to me, but I think you'll find the best in you coming out in later work. Especially since you're improving and branching out all the time.

ok working on it. i sold her for 700 so I cant complain.
Β Often what the artists adores is not whats loved the most. payment feels really good though so its worth it to make a sacrifice.

That's how you live your dreams. Earning your bread with what you love to do.
