hi Β man! Β I lay each section of hair down on a glass plate first and glue the cut end. after that dries I have hair peices I pull off of the glass. I trim the gluey end so I have a nice clean peice of hair with a strip of dried glue holding it.
Β I then apply the peices working with the way they naturaly want to curl or flow. Β Start with forehead peices falling towards the face and the side then working back Β in layers untill you get to the nape. Β the nape hair is shorter than the front too.
Β Only the tips of the hair have a holding gel. the rest of the hair is soft to the touch.

She looks like a living painting. Her face is so expressive, you can just see the sorrow in her eyes, and I love the effect you've done to make her hair stand up. Did you use wire for that?

her Β hair is applied just a bit at a time and glued at the root in a flowing direction. This way it lays as if its being blown

Now got 'Stormy Weather' stuck in my head...
Is the hair fixed in that windswept style? I love her cold weather face; pink nose tip, flushed cheeks, and the little muscle under each eye. Lovely.

Thats a pretty good guess since i had the art for Les Mis' on my muse board for a long time. Cosette with the giant mop. She was not directly inspired by anything tho.
