Mr 1-drawing-a-year-but-I'm-still-an-artist-honest has been on my back about not putting up pictures dispite being off my Hia, so to prove that I have been doing pictures for the last few weeks, yesterday I sat down and drew a months worth of pictures. Today I'll put up some of the less horrible.
Ok, so the smarter of you may have guessed this is a Space Marine. The ones that didn't get that, don't feel bad. It's a conversion. A horribly drawn conversion. Hell, if I hung it upside down in the Tate no one would realise.
Anyways, as I said, this is a drawing of a conversion I did. If any of you are big Warhammer nerds feel free to keep reading, but otherwise, for my credibility I implore you to stop.
Here goes; How I made the model. The torso is obviously Space Marine parts. The hover 'engine' is taken from a Tau Drone, and the hover base is taken from that too (I told you not to keep reading if you don't like 40K. I bet you're out of your depth now aren't you?)
The bit behind the 'engine' is part of a radar from a Rhino. Now honestly, they give you a turret and a tank commander, why would you take up one of the two places with a frikkin radar? Oh, and the gun... I'm not sure where it's from. It was lying around in my spare parts box. I think it may have been from a Land speeder, but I don't know where it'd fit on...
Anyways, there you go. My shitty conversion. Tune in next week when I show you how to spend hours adding little bits of wires to a guy to turn him into a tech adept.
