Description for 's contest-o!

the theme was 'be creative' so I came up with this. I decided to use vibrant contrasting colors because for me, being able to be free to use colors goes hand in hand with creativity. I also wanted to chose colors that don't really appear in nature (well.. that often) to give it more of a daydream-ish quality. For the background I drew in a lot of little doodles and images that symbolize things from my heritage and things that I just generally thing about and enjoy whenever I day dream. It's important to dip into all of your memories and experiences when creating art.

well, yeah it's supposed to be me. but, let's be honest. I exaggrated a bit here and there. So it's not really me anymore >.> I feel really stupid now because my perspective painting is the same subject. haha.

my dad got me a pink shirt for christmas that says 'I me' because that's what I used to say when I was little when anyone would say "I looove you Rachie"
