Oh my goodness, a hand that doesn't look absolutely terrible... who am I and how did I achieve that?

I started on the torso as a sketch and realized it was too good to just throw away. I genuinely quite like this picture though it doesn't top my Kriti Drowning redraw I did a little while back.
The background isn't drawn/mine. I used a reef photo and pixelated it since I struggled too much in drawing my own.
