Description
Dangerous creatures are the Burrowing beasts. Though 4 feet tall on average, they quite exceed that in length, with extended, low forms perfect for making their way through the tunnels which they call home. Living and working together in packs of about 15 strong or more, they inhabit warrens and networks of burrows as their name implies, places where they sleep and store the food they opportunistically correct, mostly scavenged carrion but the occasional larger beast too which they work together in their packs to take down.

Be wary of the Burrowing Beasts, for though they rarely attack unprovoked, they are extremely territorial creatures. Moreover, though not venomous, their teeth are so filthy, unwashed and ridden with bacteria that to sustain a bite is to put oneself at great risks - it is rarely the wounds themselves that are the risk when it comes to the Beasts, but the infections that come afterwards.
