These Astrians are actually quite fascinating creatures, and I loved the idea that their designs are mostly based on things that have to do with their creator, like temperment, flaws, and (of course) favorite colors. I certainly hope that this meets the criteria.

Not really. Your design was wonderful Slim. The overall impression that I got from this picture was wonderful. His pose is magnificent, the shading and coloring is wonderful and overall, I think the picture just rocked. I may be okay at shading but you did a hell of a job on this picture.

Well, for starters, Your work has more of an elaborate touch to it, which is exactly what this contest required. Astrians require a lot of creative detail and you [b]know[/b] how I am with "details." Not to mention that your shading technique has reached an impressive mark up to this point (remember the last "bubbles" pic you submitted? I do!). Trust me, it would have more than likely blown everyone away! Still, I greatly appreciate the compliment because I know you mean it.
