It seems form your gallery you already have an eye for portrait work and candidi shots!
You might just want to experiment now with controling the enviroment a little with backgrounds and or props and directing your subjects!

well, im my opinion, the light is too low and its too infront on me, maybe if i moved it around so there was a little bit more light on my back it would look better, what do you think?

well the tricky thing is that i take all the pictures by myself and so i dont have anyone else fixing the light and giving my input and all. for my photos i just find a surface to rest my camera on and i put it on a timer

What were you using for a light source?

im using one of those reading lamps that you can turn in any direcrion

Need a little stronger source and maybe two but the light would become too harsh at some poing and you would need to diffuse it to soften the hard shadows!
