THE STORY:Of course she was framed... Any two bit detective could have figured that one out. But I had to let this Broadway production play out even if it meant Madeline sit in prison for a few days. At least she's safe there, away from the streets inevitable restructuring of hierarchy after the death of The Doctor.

I've investigated everything I could; run down the mysterious texts Madeline had been receiving, tracked down her whereabouts as best I could but still nothing is adding up. Did someone kill The Doctor to climb the ranks? If so, why frame it on Madeline? Either way it was their show and I'll have to wait until the credits are rolling to know who the players are.

"Why did you kiss her like that?" a sobbing voice broke the silence from behind John's back. A cold barrel simultaneously thrust against his spine meant he had to play it slow and calm headed. "The Doctor told me you were not to be trusted" she continued as John slowly and cautiously raised his hands in the air. "He said all kinds of things to confuse me about the love that we have" her words dripping with the poison of a manipulated mind. "But when I saw you kiss that.. that... Madeline, I just about came out of my skin and shot you then" the tears had picked up as her voice took on the tone of a lover scorned.

John, absolutely confused by her statements, stood silently waiting for a clear moment to disarm her. "He knew about us. How we made love the first night we met and our plans to run away together. John... don't you love me anymore?" her voice pleading, broken up by moments of sobbing.
