Another OC of Kyper. ^^ Here is Catherine, a rather laid-back yet sassy fox girl, just chilling in her cozy house in front of the fireplace enjoying her drink. I really enjoy working with this piece, despite the fact that it has a pretty bland composition and very symmetrical, the value kinda help fix the problem. Took slightly more time to finish than I expected for there are so many ideas and choices to choose from before this final version. I especially proud of the colors, learn a few new things while working on it. Let me know what you guys think, and enjoy!

Lastly, sorry for such hiatus for over a month, life happens. I will try my best to dig through my inbox, commenting and replying to every single one of you! XD Bare with me, I will surely get there eventually, and more works to come before Christmas!

Aww, thank you very much for your compliment Night! Others also thinkΒ my works have that storybook quality, which I also love.
I agreed with you, I was a bit too focus with making the character popped out the most and try not to put too much details on the background, I think it could look better with more textures, when you mention it.

Thank you very much Vik! It was a struggle to come up with this choice, it was so purple before I added all these orange soft light.
I think the reason you like carpet the most was probably the fact that it is the only thing that look very 3 dimensional, with real fabric texture. XD
