On March 25th of 2019, Ranger Ricardo and Shirley Wade took a stroll up Chestnut Top Trail near the Townsend Wye in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The focus of the trip was to see the myriad wildflowers blooming at trailside. Here, Shirley captures the ranger as he points out the blooms dangling from a rock outcropping.Related content
