About an hour's work of sketchiness . . . I've been wanting to draw Shadowmere for some time now. Invincible (and reinless . . . ) horses FTW. It's supposed to be a she, but like Blossom suspiciously has male parts.

Awesomest. Horse. Ever. I love it when she starts fighting guards or Imperial Foresters because they hit her with their swords by accident when they fight bears or bandits together. She's killed more guards than me <3

I agree, but, you know, the first time you see it in all it's pretty white glory, it's awesome. The first time I left it, though, it ran off into Elsweyr. I also it's short moments of awesomeness on the fact that I'm a girl.
Alas, when one gets Shadowmere, it's like "Unicorns? Psh, whatever."

I noticed the whole "she is a he?!" thing. But wait, Shadowmere is invincible? Oh. Here I risked my neck to try and protect her, getting myself down to a single health several times, and she's invincible? Crap. I'm gonna go shoot my horse now.

Yeah. Shadowmere can be knocked unconcious, but she will just get back up again as soon as there are no enemies nearby. Sort of like certain quest NPC's, some of them are also invincible.

Yeah...Shadowmere has close to 20 arrows sticking out of her head. Just as payback for all those wasted life-saves.

X'D Yeah. Don't try it on the skinned hound you can get for a pet in the Shivering Isles though. He's not invincible.

Well, that wont be a problem I'm sure. See, I don't have Shivering Isles. Although, that makes it annoying since all the cool mods say they need it...I need to go grab it so I can have something to do in Oblivion. The excitement kinda lulls after doing all of the main and guild quest lines.

Shadowmere probably is the best horse in Oblivion. The Unicorn just kept trying to kill me so I had to kill it.

Heheheh, yes. The Unicorn will attack anyone who draws a weapon in it's presence. Which means it's more of a pain than anything.

Best horse by far in that game! Mine got killed by an imperial guard so I went on a rampage and slaughtered everyone. Shadowmere will be avenged!

My disc was bugged so key characters could die. It was a pain in the ass when protecting key characters, had to save every minuet
