I've been working on this on and off for like 2 months now. There's something that I can't quite put my finger on that doesn't seem to work here, but I think I've lost perspective by just tweaking it forever. It is time I put a stop to endless tweaking, and move on. 
Anyhow.. I am quite happy with it overall, since I seem to have trouble drawing Cullen normally.

Amazing job on this! I really like how you did the hair and the textures that you used! 
I know that feel where you have to stop and start something different because you've worked on a piece too long. You can always find something to refine and fix! Eventually, there will be a point that the piece have been fixed up so much, it doesn't seem like what you started at first. Not sure if I'm making sense here...! I used to be more of a perfectionist in the past and it was one of the reasons I keep wanting to redo a lot of my old artwork - finally did get over it!

awww.. thank you so much.. hahaha i really don't know when to stop.. I do sketches pretty fast, but paintings like this.. i get it done most of the way and then just keep tweaking.. never ends.. hahaha

I love that you have actually given him curly hair! It's one of the few things that irks me in Inquisition - he had curly hair before and Varrick even nicknames him that but his hair in the game is wavy at best! I think you've done a really good job with him, even if you don't think he's perfect

Yeah i was wondering about that too in DAI.. where is his noodle hair!?! Maybe he got his hands on some magic hair straightening formula? hahaha
I kept it pretty straight in the front though.. hahaha just curly around the side and back.
