"She is indeed, most wondrous fair.
Gold of sunshine in her hair,
lips that shame the red red rose.
In ageless sleep, she finds repose.

The years roll by,
but a hundred years to a steadfast heart, are but a day.
And now, the gates of a dungeon part,
and our prince is free to go his way.
Off he rides, on his noble steed,
a valiant figure, straight and tall!
To wake his love with "loves' first kiss"!
And prove that "true love" conquers all!"

"She waits and waits
hoping that he will somehow arrive
He shall free her from this deep slumber
And sweep her off her feet
They shall live together forever
Just like how it was once upon a dream

But what if he never came?
There was no prince,
There was no dream.
It all remained in her fantasy
Once upon a dream...
Once upon the dream

The rose will forever yearn for that kiss of life,
A promise of eternal bond between two
Instead she wilts as she lies idle
Still dreaming until she reaches her requiem"

She waits, but what if there was no 'someone'?
What if dreams do not come true?

XD

And so my youngest sister (7 years old) came up with a funny question...

"Why does Maleficent really want to kill Aurora anyway?"

That made me think

Snow White's stepmum was jealous of her.
Ursula wanted King Triton's position so she went against Ariel.
Gaston wanted Belle so he hated the Beast.
Jafar wanted to become sultan so he wanted to marry Jasmine.
Cinderella... nuff said

Maleficent... mysterious... XD

Maybe it's because she was not invited and "Not wanted---Merryweather" to the party

To end this, I shall quote my youngest sister once again...

Sister:"Why did Romeo drink the poison anyway?"

Me: Because he thought Juliet was dead already so... he thought he lost his love."

Sister: ".... stupid"

LOL, she's so realistic... and smart for a kid XD
