i love this. it seems an unlikely scene for a rainbow shot - the dingy, dusky color and feel. brilliantly composed & my favorite colors.

That is a very lethal looking spire(s). I know there must be a theologic reason, but i've always wondered if they weren't planning to impale something.

Erm, I will need some research references to back up this I know, but I remember learning that spires and such stem back to the use of phallic symbols connected with worship in ancient Babylon.

ah, k. this is breathtaking. the modern apartment bloc, the church spire reaching in opposition to the heavens, the [double!] rainbows like suddenly halted windshield wipers. 'epic in scope and symbolism' sounds too trite. off to find a suitable synonym.
