Made with GIMP.I couldn't sleep, so I started this as a speedpainting but eventually it turned into something more serious and fleshed out as time passed.
I can hardly call it a speedpainting now since it took me ca. 4 hours and I consider that way too long for a picture of this quality. Then again, I was trying a whole new approach to drawing landscapes and structures here such as practicing atmospheric lighting, so I guess that might explain it.
This picture shows the same wanderer as the one by the stormy shore at night that I have drawn a long time ago as one of my early digital drawings.
Obviously, this person is taking a walk through a forest on a sunny day.
Now you may ask yourself: Is there more to it...?
