Description I've been super busy this month, halloween, birthdays coming up for a friend, a few requests for costumes, a request for animations (other than this one), I've made Amon's mask, and I've been trying to make a mold out of it, but I had a snafu on the last one, which was a few expensive mistakes... and its just a live and learn situation, and there's no getting around that, so I'm going to try again.

Thank you to for the suggestion, it was an interesting and fun challenge to recreate this particular piece of sailor moon animation.Β  Based on this reference www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw4PA9…

I'm going to attempt another idea from someone else, and as soon as I have something to show I'll post a whole process on how I did the mask.

I find it interesting how the frequent and sudden changes of camera close-up & zoom-outΒ locations don't interrupt the perceived flow of the animation at all.
1.) Hand -> Bust.
2.) Legs -> Full-Body.
3.) Face -> Full-Body.

Also, I just learned a new lesson here, lol. Never thought about it.
The camera movement is used as part of the timing of the overall animation, to increase it's impact. What a smart idea.
That last moment, when she raises her hand up in the air, as if charging momentum, then as she hits the floor, the camera zoom's out powerfully, which increases the felt impact. As if the viewer is blown away by the force.

Β  Anime back in the day and even today uses the camera a lot to add impact and dynamics to lots of things.

Just like you pay attention to the curves of your limbs and your center of gravity you use your camera as much or as little as the situation calls for.

Hi I used Digicel Flipbook, it can import sound and some formats of video but the video doesn't include sound when you import it if I remember right.Β  It does do 24 fps or whatever fps you like, I hope that helps.

Thank you ^__^

www.youtube.com/watch?v=uw4PA9… ; Thanks dude, I didn't want to copy it all frame for frame, but I love the way that they did it in the original cartoon
