Description This is my colour of a really good ink piece by Fendiin . The original pencil drawing was a beautiful little picture by VASS-comics . You can find the original works here..   As usual this is coloured using my Ipad, with Procreate.

Please go and check their galleries out, they are fantastic artists to watch on here. Also I'll recommend Joe Abercrombie's works, if you haven't read his stories then you are missing out!

Thanks Cole. You did a really good job in inking that piece, you tend to appreciate things like that a little more when you actually want to colour something.

As for Joe, I haven't had anything back as yet. If we don't then hey no problem, he must get all sorts of Fan mail on a regular basis to sift through. I sent him the link here along with the usual facebook thumbnail etc, if he does message then I'll let you guys know.

Lovely stuff, especially the tones on the guy's torso and the flames in the background. I've got some fire in my current pic, might take some tips from this on the colours!

Thanks Nick. I originally took the flames and let them "lick" past the ink outline, and although I liked the look to the flames themselves by doing so, it did'nt "fit" with the style of the picture so I got rid of them.

I deliberately kept "Nine-Fingers" quite pale looking, his character in the story is mentioned as being "from the north". In most subsets that tends to come across as not the most sunny of places.

Looking forward to seeing your Golden Axe pic when it's done, I used to play a lot of it back in the day on my Amiga A500. Loved getting enough pots to summon that dragon across the screen!

Ha, there won't be any giant dragons or magic in my pic, purely swordplay! Actually there might be a small dragon ...

I think you got the tones on your pic just right. You should look at adding it to a few groups.

Well you know me mate, I've pushed it out to a couple of groups for colorists on here to look at. Not too worried about number of views etc, if my work gets good enough then at some point I'll eventually get noticed.

"If you build it.. They will come.."

Besides I've messaged on Facebook the main person I wanted to show this to.. Joe Abercrombie..

I've seen how good his work is so hey, if he gets a kick out of seeing it then I'll be just be chuffed with that.
