They steal food from their victims while they are eating and carry evildoers (especially those who have killed their family) to the Erinyes. They seem originally to have been wind spirits. Which one, the plane or the pilot? As for the Harpy, maybe reduce the machine guns in the nose to the outer two and then plant some 20 mm in the wing roots. As for her, maybe have the pilot walking away while lighting up a victory cigar. Again, just my thoughts here.
