Wow. This is my first painting I did for last school year. We were asked to paint a scene from the Christmas story. I chose Mary, pregnant and lost in thought about the coming birth of her son, the Savior. I never really got to finish this one . . .I used watered down water-based oil paints, so this is not a real oil painting.

I like this. I especially like the skin tone you went with. THAT'S how Mary would have looked, given the region of the world she lived in.
