Mrs. Williams looked down at the tiny ship with sheer wonder in her eyes. She had heard her husband talk about this before. There were moments throughout space and time that were not bound by any physical constructs. Occasionally particles would act on their own and cause odd phenomena. Occasionally, these quantum particles would string together, acting dependent of the group rather than independent. Scientists are only beginning to understand how quantum events occur and why they do.

God, she missed him. He was the oddest combination of nerd and manly man. He was smart, attractive, outgoing, and he made a lot of money too. She smirked as she looked around their vacation home. He knew she loved the mountains- she was ecstatic when their next property was a little place in Utah. The only thing that would make it better is if he could return to her...

She squinted as she peered down at the tiny space vessel. It was uncanny how much it looked like the Eidolon, her husbands ship. That one was the largest in the 4th fleet, a Cruiser-Class ship capable of comfortably holding 5,000 men.

She smiled, heart aflutter. It was him! He had to have sent this to her. A model replica of his ship; a memento for her to hold close until he got back, something to cherish and hold close until they were reunited.

"Sweetie..." She couldn't help but whisper to herself in a soft, sensual tone. He was so romantic, of course he would surprise her with a trinket like this.

IN THE STATEROOM OF THE EIDOLON

A man bumped his shoulder on the door frame just as the door opened, knocking his glasses from his nose and down to the floor. He instinctively bent to pick them up, speaking loudly through the temporary blindness. Simultaneously, a beep code began alarming on the captains PDN as he stirred from his chair. Groups of five, that was electrical emergency. The captain, although sleeping just a moment before, was quickly attentive.

"Sir, ships lost NAVs. We've been pulled by a quantum field. We don't know where it's taken-" But he was cut off.

"Thanks, Austen." He turned to the wall of his chamber towards a small round device at the floor. "Eidolon." The device lifted suddenly and a screen appeared in front of the once barren wall. "SITREP, full spec visual. A7, quad." The screen blinked and multiple images blew up in front of him.

Austen's voice trembled- "Mr. Williams, sir, I-" But he was interrupted once again from a scornful looking Eidolon captain. "Is this some kind of joke to you?" He looked his informants demeanor over before deciding he wasn't the one behind it. He rose from his sitting position and began walking out of his room with Austen scrambling to follow. "Sir, it's not a joke, your wife- we don't know how but-" Mr. Williams just kept walking. He didn't speak until he reached the observation deck.

The doors slid open, and he began shouting without hesitation. "Alright, which one of you damn idiots just lost his job?" None of the monitoring officers paid him any mind, they were busy typing away on consoles and trying to measure their surroundings.

The Eidolons Captain slowly walked forward, examining his wife on one of the largest observation monitors. He was taken by surprise. She filled up the entire screen. She was massive, and naked. He had never seen anything appear on the screens like that, and even zooming out he couldn't fit more of her in the frame. Suddenly one of the proximity sensors began producing a high pitched sound and the room started flashing red. An officer could be heard stating coldly "Landmass below us, power's nominal." Mr. William's jaw fell open as the 360HRView began patching into the terminal. They were just atop his Wife's outstretched hands. She was naked, and smiling down at the ship. She was moving, slowly, but still moving.

He paused. "This isn't a joke, is it Austen." The informant frowned and pushed his glasses up on his face, trying to speak up over the alarm. "N-No sir, it isn't."

Just then an overwhelming sound hit the ship, almost like a force of energy flowing past the hull with ease. It was like a field of static sound and pressure, causing the entire ships crew to cover their ears and attempt any basic defense. It could be felt vibrating one's entire body, the sound energy physically pushing and pulling rapidly in unison. Some fell to their knees, others screamed. One of the ships main viewing windows cracked, sending small shards of glass throughout the observation room. The sound seemed to change as quickly as it started.

"SSSSSSSWWWWWWWEEEEEEETTTTTIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE" Finally it subsided, and many had realized what it was. Some of the younger staff on the ship were crying. Some could not hear at all. Some were running aimlessly, trying to escape the sound; trying to escape her.

Captain Williams' left eye twitched. He removed his hands from his ears. He was in utter shock. This was his cute, petite wife in front of them. Secretly, he was terrified. Never before had he felt such conflicting emotions. Deep down, he had a burning love for this woman, but now, he was afraid. She was immeasurable; hell, she had almost killed half the crew just by speaking a word. But still, that word... He could have sworn she said "sweetie". If she did, it meant that there was a chance. Maybe she knew she was holding the ship in her hands. Maybe she knew at that moment she was responsible for almost 5,000 lives. Mr. Williams could only pray.
