For whatever program you're using the internet has a boatload of tutorials. In case you might think you want to learn new things - there are even things about MSP I didn't know till I looked up stuff on there.

Are you using a mouse or a tablet to digitize? Whatever it is, your work always comes out looking very clean and organized. Hard to do with a mouse.

I use paint.net mostly but I don't trust it with digitizing
smooth lines XD they always look wonky.
I also use mspaint but it is such a pain to work with on a
large scale. I use a mouse for everything and msp tends to
break my wrists at impossible angles~
Thank you I think my art comes out pretty clean because
I ink out a sketch on paper, scan it in, and fill bucket everything

There are some brilliant kinds of things you can do with Paint, once you learn the techniques. Especially with the line tool - after a while you can make curvy, tablet-like lines and on an image large enough that when changed back smaller, it looks smooth and very not-MSP.

Here are some examples:

[link] (that one's mine. an old doodle I decided to convert from a really thin pencil sketch. I can say from experience, this didn't take too long and I used a mouse)

[link] (tutorial, useful)

There's a lot more out there if you're willing to look. I don't know how paint.net is, so maybe you still have things to learn. ^^

Those look so darn cool I will have to try that sort of line
style sometime~

In my alternate account, I dabble in msp but my art is more
along the lines of gritty looking pixels like this: [link]
This sort of thing tends to take forever since I manually click
in every horrible little pixel XD it's a load of work, but I enjoy
how it looks in the end. ^^

It takes patience, but it's useful. And if you're using a mouse, and want good coloring still, maybe lineart in MSP and then color in openCanvas1 (not the best program, but it's free and useful and easier than MSP - you have layers and the like)

HOLY SHIT THAT DETAIL. HOLY...SHIT. That took hours. Days. Months. 0____0

That's incredible. Like, DD stuff.

Hmm..I might try that

And thanks XD It only took about a day but it felt
like months~

No, it looks like months. HOW?

I had no life for about a day so I somehow managed
to pixel it XD

I admire your skill and patience. That takes stipple coloring to a whole new level.

It looks like something that could still work as a design on a t-shirt. I think you should submit it to the contest. I can accept your drawing and transfer it to the contest folder if you'd like.

Really? That would be awesome and yes, please move it~
Thank you!

Should I change the file into something bigger? It has
to be at least 1000x1000, right?

I think we could work with the print shop and work something out. There still isn't a 100% guarantee to win, but I'd say you have as good a chance at winning as anyone who has entered thus far.
